AI finds you. Customers choose you.

For DTC and Shopify founders

A shopper asked which one to buy. One store got named. Was it yours?

Shoppers are asking ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Claude and Perplexity what to buy and where. We ask the questions shoppers ask in your category, many times over, and show you which products and merchants get named, and whether yours is one of them.

No credit card for the free scan. Plans from $58.33 a month billed annually, cancel anytime.

One lost order

Start with a lost order, not a score.

Someone types: best merino running socks for long runs that do not slip. Perplexity answers with three products, links to two stores, and a reason for each. The shopper buys from one of them. That is the entire funnel, and it happened without a search results page.

If your product was not one of the three, you did not lose on price, reviews or shipping. You were not in the answer. Multiply that by every shopper asking that question this month, and the missing line in your analytics has a shape.

What we measure today: the written answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, and which products, brands and merchants they name. We do not yet capture the product cards or shopping carousels some assistants show alongside those answers. We say so here because you should know exactly what is measured.

What you get

Real answers, counted honestly, one assistant at a time.

Shopper questions in your category

Best of, under a budget, for a specific use, versus a named brand. Written in a shopper's words, reviewed by you.

Which products and merchants get named

Per assistant counts of how often your brand and your store appear, and who appears instead, across ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Claude and Perplexity. Five separate counts, never blended.

What each assistant read

The review roundups, Reddit threads, retailer pages and your own product pages each assistant cited. Which ones name you, which show a stale price, and which competitor pages appear where yours does not.

Example finding

What a finding looks like for a business like yours.

Every finding names the assistant, the count, the range, the sources it read, and what we recommend. Nothing on faith. Yours come from your own scan, tied to the exact answers behind them.

ChatGPT, 2 of 45Example, not a real customer

For best of questions in your category under a stated budget, ChatGPT named your brand in 2 of 45 answers (range 1 to 10%). It named one competitor in 31. In the answers you were missing from, ChatGPT cited two review roundups and a Reddit thread. Your product is in none of them, and the one page that mentions you lists last year's price.

What we recommend

Submit your current product to the two roundups that accept submissions and fix the stale price on the page that has one. Recheck ChatGPT after.

We check and we recommend. We do not execute, and we do not get paid when you do.

How it works

Three steps, and the first one is free.

01

Tell us your brand and your category

Your store, your category, the brands you compete with. Two minutes, no credit card for the free scan.

02

We ask, many times over

Each question to each assistant, repeatedly, so a lucky answer does not pass for a trend. Every number carries a range.

03

You get named gaps and recommendations

Each one names the assistant, the source and the gap, ready for your content person or agency. We never sell the fix and never take a cut.

Common questions

Do you see the shopping cards inside ChatGPT?

Not today. We measure the written answers and the products, brands and merchants they name, across all five assistants. Product cards and shopping carousels are not captured yet. When that changes, this page will say so.

What is a market for a store?

One product category, measured nationally. Running socks is one market. Running socks and trail shoes is two. Starter covers one, Growth covers two. Extra markets are $49.99 a month. Email support@kensume.com to add one today.

Is this the same as SEO?

Related, not the same. Pages that rank well are cited more, but the assistants also read review roundups, Reddit threads and retailer pages that SEO tools ignore. Each recommendation names the assistant and the source it read.

What does the free scan include?

Your real numbers on each of the five assistants, with ranges, and your rank among the brands named in your category. The answers, the competitor comparison and the recommendations come with a subscription. No credit card.

Do you fix it for us?

No. We check and we recommend. Everything is written so your content person, developer or agency can act on it without us. We never sell the fix and never take a cut, which is why the check can be believed.
